Contractors Seeking Services

USNH Telecom is your liaison for wide range of voice and data telecommunication services in the college system. A Business/Commercial account is required to obtain telecommunications services.

If you don't currently have a UNH Business/Commercial account, please complete and submit a Commercial Credit Application. UNH Business Services will notify you and USNH Telecom of your new business account number.

Telecommunications Services

USNH Telecom issues Personal Authorization Codes (PACs) for dialing long distance from a UNH extension. PACs are confidential. Upon first use of the PAC, it is implied that you agree to the terms and conditions and accept responsibility for all charges. Calls are $.07 a minute 24/7. Estimates are free and can be requested by registering for a UNH Guest Account . Once your guest account is active, you may request telecommunications services by logging in to your account. If you decide to proceed with your estimate, you will need your Business Account number (from UNH Business Services) to submit a request for work. USNH Telecom recommends working with your sponsoring department to determine who will be responsible for charges associated with the telecom services you need, whether it is for a one-time event or longer term.

If your sponsoring department will be responsible for payment, please provide your needs to them and they will submit the request. USNH Telecom will work with the Department to complete your request.

Ordering Services

Register for a UNH Guest Account if you don't already have a guest login.
  • Choose Make A Request and select the appropriate form link
  • You will then be redirected to login to your UNH Guest Account.
  • A Telecom representative will contact you with a work order number and/or any questions or additional clarification needed
Work order requests are processed in the order received, and you should receive a confirmation email from USNH Telecom within 24 hours from the date you submitted your request. Normal scheduling for completion of the work is up to 12 business days from the date upon which you submitted the request form.

Terminating Service

When the contractor has completed its work on campus, it is the contractor's responsibility to notify USNH Telecom to terminate services. Billing will continue until such notification is received. Your company is liable for all billing generated prior to the requested termination date. Your company is responsible for all charges incurred through the use of telephones, computer lines, and PACs issued to your organization by USNH Telecom. Unless specified otherwise, this may include any and all subcontracting costs involved in the installation of your service. Cancellation of service and any Lost or stolen PACs should be reported immediately by submitting the attendant web form.

Billing

Your business will receive a statement from UNH Business Services detailing the charges incurred from the previous month. Please do not send payments to the Telecommunications Office.
